Indiana Law students can build their own plan of study by taking classes from a number of different areas, or they can choose an area of focus.
Description This course will focus on the FDA#s regulatory oversight of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food, and other products. The course will be of interest to students interested in complex federal administrative practice, the intersection between law and technology, or practice areas such as intellectual property law or health law. In addition to traditional casebook readings, the course is likely to include a series of practical exercises, along with some selected readings from less traditional sources, such as Upton Sinclair#s #The Jungle.# No technical background is expected or required. It is recommended that students have taken Administrative Law, or be concurrently enrolled in it. Updated 3/12
