B528 Advanced Appellate Advocacy

Description Course enrollment is limited to, and mandatory for, students selected for the 2013-14 Sherman Minton Moot Court Executive Board. The class#s work encompasses (a) the curricular portions of the Executive Board#s Fall semester work, which consist of researching and preparing the fall case problem and related materials (such as the bench memorandum); and (b) serving as teaching assistants for the 2L Appellate Advocacy course (B642) by organizing, judging, and critiquing evening practice arguments. Please note: owing to the timing of the Sherman Minton Competition, a significant part of the work of researching and writing the case problem will take place over the summer months before the Fall semester begins. (Pass/Fail)

Note This course satisfies the professional skills requirement.
