Indiana Law students can build their own plan of study by taking classes from a number of different areas, or they can choose an area of focus.
Description This course explores the economic and socio-legal structure and substance of the modern legal profession through in-depth ethonographic studies of - among others - solo and large firm practice, in-house counsel, government agencies, judges, and public interest practice. The course also will satisfy the requirement that all law students take a course on the professional responsibilities of lawyers. (4 credits, Spring semester)
