B722 Trial Advocacy

Description This introductory course in general trial advocacy covers opening statements, direct and cross-examination, closing argument, and trial preparation. The course is primarily a skills course, teaching students the forensics of conducting an ethical and persuasive trial. Students prepare and conduct some phase of the trial weekly; extensive use is made of videotape to enable students to review their own performances. (3 cr.)

Note This course satisfies the professional skills requirement.
