Indiana Law Careers by the Numbers*
- 98.5 percent of the 2007 class was employed nine months after graduation.
- Our graduates earn positions in 20 of the top 25 Am Law 200 firms.
- Each summer, our Public Interest Internship Program sends the majority of first-year students to a variety of unique placements, such as judicial clerkships, the Children’s Legal Defense Fund, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
- With 19 innovative clinical opportunities, our students gain a professional advantage by experiencing hands-on legal practice serving in the community under the guidance of faculty members. Our Entrepreneurship Law Clinic alumni have a 100 percent job placement rate.
- We are committed to customizing the career development process for each student. A myriad of programs are offered each year including on-campus and on-location recruiting, mock interviews, alumni shadowing, Lunch with a Lawyer sessions and professional development workshops.
- Clinical opportunities more than tripled in 2006. Access to new clinics and programs, new facilities, and full-time clinical faculty give our students a professional advantage. Our Entrepreneurship Law Clinic alumni have a 100 percent job placement rate.
- Since 2002, nearly 30 percent of each graduating class has studied abroad.
